PASTOR LADIMER ALKHASEH

SENIOR PASTOR

Even as a youth, Pastor Ladimer Alkhaseh has always had the heart to serve the Lord. He delivered his first sermon at the age of 17 under the mentorship of Rev. Shmoil Es-Haq at the Assyrian Evangelical Church of Tehran, Iran. Pastor Alkhaseh came to the US in 1975, lived in New York for a period and eventually settled in the Los Angeles area in 1978. His love and zeal for the Lord led him to pursue ministry opportunities. He served as a volunteer youth advisor at the Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles for number of years, where he organized Bible Studies and activities for the at-risk youth.
His passion to minister to the youth increased through this experience and brought him to serve as the full time youth pastor at the Armenian Brotherhood Bible Church in Pasadena. Pastor Alkhaseh completed his studies at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, where he received an MA degree in Theology in 1999. During his studies, Pastor Alkhaseh also had the opportunity to serve as adjunct faculty at Azusa Pacific University, where he taught courses in Theology and Mathematics.
Upon relocating to San Jose in 2002, Pastor Alkhaseh became a member of the Assyrian Evangelical Church of San Jose, where he served as an Elder and lay Pastor until his official ordination. Pastor Alkhaseh was ordained and installed as the Senior Pastor of the Assyrian Evangelical Church of San Jose on August 15, 2009.
In addition to his ministry-related accomplishments, Pastor Alkhaseh holds an MS degree in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
